UNDO PMU Laser Tattoo Removal

UNDO PMU Laser Tattoo Removal is a specialist treatment designed to safely lighten or remove unwanted permanent makeup or microblading from the brows, lips or body art using advanced laser technology.

This treatment works by targeting the pigment within the skin with precise laser energy, breaking the ink into tiny particles that are naturally cleared away by the body over time. It is commonly used for:

  • Undesirable eyebrow shape or colour
  • Discoloured eyebrow tattoos or microblading
  • Hugely beneficial to clear the skin making space for new, fresh and more flattering tattoo eyebrows
  • Pigment migration
  • Clients who have previously had a shaded ombre brow which gives a heavier look, and are desiring a more natural, textured hairstroke eyebrow
  • Clients who have been left with undesirable lip blush tattoo results. Where pigment may have been placed outside of the vermilion border. Unsymmetrical results, or an undesirable colour.
  • Clients who have body art tattoo’s they no longer like or feel represent who they are today

At your consultation, your skin and pigment type will be carefully assessed to create a personalised treatment plan. Because permanent makeup/cosmetic tattoo/microblading pigments can vary in colour and composition, multiple sessions may be required to achieve the desired removal result.

Some pigments may temporarily darken after treatment due to oxidation before gradually fading. This is a normal part of the removal process and will be explained during consultation.

The treatment is quick and minimally invasive, with most clients experiencing mild redness or sensitivity for a few days afterwards. Full aftercare advice will be provided to support healing and achieve the best possible results.

Frequently Asked
Questions

It is very likely that the treatment will be uncomfortable. The denser the pigment in the skin the more uncomfortable it will be, due to the laser having more to extract. Your following treatments will be less painful as there will be less pigment present in the skin. And it really is very short lived. The laser itself is over in seconds. Lip blush tattoo removal is less uncomfortable due to the penetration of the laser being reduced. It is a much gentler procedure.

This is not a flat answer for everyone as there are a lot of elements that affect this.

Everyone’s lymphatic system runs at different rates, drinking and smoking can affect this along with standing medical conditions or medications.

The existing work will also affect this. How deep the pigment is, the type of pigment used by your previous tattoo artist, what colour it is currently, how many years it has been present in the skin. Your technician will be able to give you a rough estimation on how many sessions you will need but we will have a clearer idea when we see the healed result after your first session.

Here is a rough guide:
  • Laser Eyebrow Tattoo Removal 1-3 sessions

  • Laser Lip Blush Tattoo Removal 3-5 sessions

  • Laser Body Art Tattoo Removal 6-12 sessions

We cannot guarantee your tattoo will be completely removed. Our machine cannot target yellow which is present in some pigments used in tattoo’s, this is most common in eyebrow tattoos. There is another treatment available post laser that targets the yellow residue. This is called saline tattoo removal. This can be discussed at your consultation. However, if you are planning a replacement tattoo post removal, then yellow is the easiest colour to cover with your replacement tattoo. If you are looking for complete removal, saline tattoo removal is a good option for you post laser.

Body art is much harder to remove, thus it needs more sessions. The ink is much darker and often denser due to shading or work that has possibly been implanted too deep in the skin. In some cases, the dark pigment won’t be present post removal, but you may notice more of a ‘tan’ outline where the tattoo used to be.

Unfortunately not, I know you may be panicking if you have had a treatment that you feel has gone wrong, but trust us, there are many reasons why this cannot be done so soon.

Firstly, a fresh tattoo is an open wound, there are multiple tiny injuries to the skin. Administering laser to the skin is very likely to cause scarring, blistering and delayed healing. Your immune system needs time to heal from the initial trauma before it takes on a new one.

After you have your tattoo done the colour will not remain the same as when it’s healed. When your tattoo calms down you may like the colour it settles into. The colour we will see is different to the healed result meaning we will not be able to treat it affectively. The healed colour can be unpredictable.

You will need to wait at least 6 weeks between sessions, as we need to allow the skin and your body to carry out the repair work. This includes any laser facial treatments you may be having between removal sessions.

For eyebrow tattoo/microblading removal: The treatment itself take minutes. However we allow 30 minutes for your full appointment to allow for consultation time etc…..

For lip blush tattoo removal: The treatment itself take minutes. However we allow 30 minutes for your full appointment to allow for consultation time etc…..

Body Art removal: Depending on size of treatment area 15 mins to 1 hour

Again, this very much depends on the person and their lifestyle. We ask that you keep the area free from water, heat, steam, sunlight, makeup and oils for at least 24 hours.

Expect some redness, soreness and a tingling for a few days. In some cases, there may be minor bleeding or blistering. To help with this we do provide an ice pack for you to take away.

You cannot arrive at your appointment for laser eyebrow or lip tattoo removal with a suntan to the area being treated. Therefore, avoid sunlight or apply an apf of at least 50 to the area and surround area for at least 1 month prior to treatment.

Sun protection is the most important part of your aftercare, any extra heat exposure may result in blistering. We ask that you do this by avoiding exposure to direct sunlight for 1 week post treatment. After that apply an spf of at least 50 to the area for 2 months

You’ll be happy to hear there is. At Brow Design Studio we specialise in cosmetic tattooing which is a different technique all together. Microblading cuts the skin and the pigment is absorbed into the cuts.

When cosmetic tattooing is used, you can create the same textured look of fluffy hairstrokes, but the healed look is far superior on certain skin types. This is because, when in the right hands, cosmetic tattooing causes less trauma to the skin. The healed result looks crisper, and therefore more realistic and natural.

By clearing the skin of the old pigment, it makes the space to create a more realistic and flattering look for your new brows.

LASER CARBON FACIALS

Sometimes known as ‘The Hollywood Peel’ is a non-invasive painless treatment. Liquid carbon is applied to the skin. The carbon binds to dirt, oil, and dead skin cells in your pores. The laser vaporizes the carbon, removing these impurities instantly.

What can a laser carbon facial skin rejuvenation achieve?

Pore Reduction and Oil Control
The thermal effect of the laser shrinks sebaceous glands, reducing excess oil production and minimising pore appearance.

Acne Treatment
It helps clear blackheads, whiteheads and acne by reducing bacterial levels and removing the top layer of damaged skin.

Improved Tone and Texture
Regular sessions help fade dark spots, acne scars and pigmentation, stimulating collagen resulting in a smoother, brighter and more even complexion.

How many sessions of carbon facial will I need?

Most clients notice brighter skin after one session, but we recommend a course of 4-6 treatments for the best results.

How frequently can I have laser carbon skin rejuvenating facials?

You need to leave at least 30 days between your treatments.

How long does a treatment take?

Carbon skin rejuvenating facial: Approx 1 hour

Does a laser carbon facial hurt?

Carbon Facial is not meant to hurt at all, imagine warm water droplets over your face as the laser is targeting the mask which lies above the skin. It may be a little tickly around your nose.
