A New Season,
A Little Time for You
As the leaves begin to turn and autumn settles in, October brings with it a change of pace. The days become a little shorter, the evenings a little cosier, and it feels like the perfect opportunity to slow down, reset and make some time for yourself. After the busy summer months, autumn is a wonderful season to refresh your routine, embrace a little self-care and perhaps finally get around to that treatment you’ve been thinking about.
In this autumn edition of Between the Lines, we’re sharing the latest news and stories from Brow Design Studio, together with expert advice, treatment insights and plenty of inspiration from the studio. Whether you’re considering a new treatment, looking to refresh an existing one or simply fancy a few minutes to yourself with a good read, we hope you’ll find something to enjoy as we head into the cooler months.

Laser Tattoo & Permanent Makeup Removal
After years of research — and lots of requests from our clients — we finally took the plunge and invested in advanced laser technology for the removal of unwanted permanent makeup and body tattoos.
Before launching, our team travelled together to Sheffield to undertake specialist training, studying both the technology and the treatment process.
We officially launched the service in April this year, and since then we’ve seen some phenomenal results!
So, how does it work?
Our laser delivers highly concentrated, ultra-short pulses of light energy at specific wavelengths. The laser energy is selectively absorbed by the pigment within the skin, creating a rapid photoacoustic effect that causes the pigment particles to fracture into much smaller fragments. The laser is designed to target pigment while limiting the amount of energy absorbed by the surrounding tissue, helping to minimise unnecessary damage to the skin.
Over the weeks following treatment, the body’s natural immune and lymphatic processes gradually clear away these fragmented pigment particles, allowing the tattoo or permanent makeup to progressively fade.
Every tattoo is different, so the number of sessions required will vary depending on factors including the colour, depth and density of the pigment, as well as how the original tattoo or permanent makeup was applied.
For permanent makeup clients, removal can be particularly useful where brows have become too dark, changed colour over time, are an unwanted shape, or where old pigment needs to be reduced before considering a new treatment.
If you know someone who is unhappy with their permanent makeup, microblading or body art, please send them our way.
We offer a complimentary consultation where we can assess the pigment, discuss what they would like to achieve and explain the treatment process before they make any decisions.
Lauren introduction
We are super excited to officially introduce our newest brow artist, Lauren Cara!
Lauren joined Brow Design in December 2025 and has been quietly working away behind the scenes, developing some seriously impressive brow design and enhancement skills.
Already qualified in Brow Lamination, Brow Tinting, Brow Waxing, HD Brows, Lash Lifts and Hybrid Tinting, Lauren has been creating some beautiful results — sculpting, defining and enhancing our clients’ natural brows while keeping them looking soft and natural.
And for those looking for something a little more restorative, there’s more exciting news… Lauren is currently training in the art of cosmetic tattooing.
While many cosmetic tattooing and microblading courses on the market can be completed in just 2–3 days, we believe that creating permanent results on someone’s face deserves considerably more training than that! By the time Lauren sits her final assessment, she will have completed a full year of training and mentorship, ensuring she has the knowledge, experience and practical skills needed to work to the very highest standards.
Lauren is now in the case study stage of her training and is looking for just 3 more case study clients.
Once qualified, she’ll also be launching with a very special introductory price for her first 20 clients.
If you, or someone you know, would like to be considered for either a case study appointment or Lauren’s launch offer, please drop us an email, call or message and we’ll be in touch.
For now, here’s a little selection of Lauren’s recent work for you to have a browse through. We think you’ll agree she’s one to watch!
Sarah's Leaving
After more than five wonderful years with Brow Design, Sarah has sadly left us to begin an exciting new chapter.
She was presented with an amazing opportunity to take on a clinical leadership role, and while we’re incredibly sad to see her go, we couldn’t be more thrilled for her. We know she’ll absolutely excel in her new role!
To give her the send-off she deserved, the team headed to Old Harry Rocks for a long lunch, with delicious food and some pretty spectacular views.
Sarah, thank you for everything you’ve brought to Brow Design over the last five years. You’ve been such a valued part of our team and you’re already very much missed.
We love you and wish you every success in your new adventure!
ANOTHER EXCITING ADDITION TO OUR TEAM!
We’re super excited to welcome Clair of Bournemouth Tiny Tattoos to Brow Design Studio!
Clair has been a cosmetic tattoo artist for 9 years, and over the last 3 years has taken her love of creativity and detail even further, expanding into custom tiny tattoos and body art.
She is also a fully qualified piercer with 4 years’ experience, specialising in ear, nose and navel piercings.
Clair loves working closely with her clients to create something that feels completely personal to them. Whether it’s a meaningful tiny tattoo, a new piercing or cosmetic tattooing, her priority is making sure every client feels listened to, comfortable and completely at ease.
Her calm, friendly approach and eye for detail make her a perfect fit for our team — and we’re really excited to be adding tiny tattoos and professional piercing to the treatments available at Brow Design Studio!
We can’t wait for you to meet her.
