What do I do if I have had a treatment at Brow Design Studio, but I’d like to come to a different artist for my next boost?
No problem! We welcome each others client’s openly. You will still only pay a colour boost price so long as you have been treated previously at Brow Design Studio.

When Should I get A colour Boost?
We recommend getting a colour boost done between 12 and 18 months post treatment. Colour boosts are carried out in one single treatment and they keep the colour crisp and fresh.
The cost of the boost depends on the length of time since your last treatment. The time categories are as follows :
- Within 12 month
- 12-18 months
- 18-24 months and
- over 2 years

How can I make my enhancement last longer?
The biggest environmental factor to accelerate fading is the sun. Therefore, we recommend that you invest in and apply a good spf of at least factor 50. Even in the winter, the sun can be very strong. Claire’s top tip for managing this is to have a lip balm with spf 50 in your bag so that if you’re out and about, you can quickly apply some to your brows and lips.
We tend to find lips and eyeliner lasts longer than brows. This is because brows are quite exposed to the elements. Also because eyeliner has a large blackload, giving it greater staying power in the skin. Stronger, darker and more dense brows will last longer than a soft blonde hairstroke brow for example. For the softer brows you should look to get an annual boost carried out. As each boost is carried out, we are layering colour onto colour so we tend to find they last longer as you go on through your boosts.
As clients understand the natural effects of good cosmetic tattooing they tend to get a little braver, sometimes allowing us to take the colour a shade darker for example at a boost. This will increase the longevity of the enhancement.
Each boost plan is tailored to each individual client depending on how they are feeling about their enhancement.
